MyTV officially launched last nite at Hotel Westin

India’s first social TV channel “MyTV” was officially launched last nite at Hotel Westin, Mumbai by Mr. Rajiv Shukla, Member of Parliament in the presence of Pankaj Thakar, Founder & CEO, Cellcast and Ashutosh, Head of MyTV, Cellcast. As soon as the channel went on air, there were whistles and cheers followed by a presentation on what was going to be aired on the channel. Interestingly, the channel will be ad-free which will be a soother to those who abhor ads in between. The launch was rounded up by a special performance by Mekaal Hasan Band, followed by a cocktail and dinner party that lasted till the wee hours.

Of the programs that are being aired as of now include Glitter Mania, Cricket Howzatt, Gold Safe, Astro Talk, BhavishyaPhal, Bid2Win and My Studio. Glittermania is a two hour show where callers can participate by solving simple puzzles and winning the prize money on offer. Calls will be taken live every few minutes. Cricket Howzatt is an interactive cricket quiz-based game show that has questions and picture puzzles and each question has one winner.

Of these programs, Gold Safe is a new interactive entertainment quiz show which will provide viewers a fantastic opportunity to participate in Games and win prizes everyday by answering simple questions and solving easy puzzles.
