The Mrs. India Globe pageant 2014
will provide a platform to all married women to make a difference in the world.
This platform hopes to empower women and enrich opportunities for personal
growth. Most pageants are limited to very young, single woman; creating a
stereotype. Mrs. India Beauty Queen conveys that a mother, a wife, a successful
working woman is beautiful and can be a beauty queen. The inner beauty,
Leadership, Intellectual Interests, Lifestyle, Civic Involvement and cultural
awareness are some of the key aspects that the pageant seeks to bring out in
the Woman of India. The pageant celebrates Indian mothers and wives who juggle countless
roles and responsibilities while also pursuing their passions and very often
successful professions.
Speaking at the Launch, Mrs. Bir
Kaur Dhillon, Mrs. India Globe – 2013 said “Women on Women Welfare (WOWW) is a
new initiative to empower women through education and vocational training to
achieve economic independence.” She further added, "It will also inspire
women of diverse backgrounds and cultures to come together nationally and
internationally, support lifelong commitment to uplifting those in need and
develop a sense of global responsibility.”
