Didn’t we say Sex Sells? Yes, Hate Story 2 garnered
a good collection right on Day one at the box office compared to other
releases. Among the three films that opened on Friday – Hate Story 2, Amit
Sahni Ki List and Pizza 3D – Hate Story 2 embarked on the best start with box
office collections of Rs 5.46 Crore on opening day and with certain circuits
opening to 40%-60% occupancy. Till now the domestic BO Collection of the
movie is calculated as Rs. 17.5 Crores (approx.) Meanwhile, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania continues
to attract audiences and is certainly proving to be tough competition.
While most of the metro audiences were
expecting Pizza 3D to spring a big surprise - horror laced with 3D effects to
scare the shit out of the audiences - got a feeble response. Amit Sahni Ki List
that also opened this Friday was on a below average note.
