Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend the gorgeous international super model Irina Shayk sizzled on the cover of Maxim Magazine, recently. The sports illustrated model and debutant looked resplendent as she graced the tropical blue cover photo of the publication. The actress is making her debut in the film ‘Hercules’ as the beautiful Megara, who is the wife of the Hercules played by the handsome Dwayne Johnson.

The leggy lass is excited about her role in ‘Hercules’ and hopes her fans love the film. Irina whose name is of Greek origin enjoyed sharing screen space with Dwayne. Irina looks stunning as Megara in the film and has a perfect chemistry with Dwayne Johnson. She hopes to work on many more such projects in the future.

The movie is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Those who have never read the novel, the story goes as thus: Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail... he must again become the hero he once was... he must embrace his own myth... he must be Hercules.

Distributed jointly by Paramount Pictures and MGM, the movie is directed by Brett Ratner. The movie also stars Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt. The movie released today, the 1st August 2014.
