While
there has been trouble brewing with Aamir Khan's controversial nude poster from
PK as a legal case has been filed for obscenity, the latest to hit the director
actor duo is that the poster idea is entirely not original. While online buzz
suggests it is inspired by a Portuguese musician Quim Barreiros cover art
released way back in 1973, we also found out that the idea is pretty similar to
the modeling done by Ashmit Patel. Or is it a mix of both? While it may seem that its copied from the musician's cover, the pose and the cover are albeit more similar to Ashmit's picture. Whatever it is, this
is either to create more eyeballs or to keep the movie and the actor in news,
it seems.
While
it remains to be seen how much the perfectionist actor agrees to the idea being
copied, it’s not a new thing for movie posters to be copied from other films in
Bollywood. Aamir’s Dhoom 3 poster also had a close resemblance to Christopher
Nolan's 'The Dark Knight'. The scene which saw Aamir looking out of a large
window, seemed very much similar to Nolan's movie, where Christian Bale's
Batman was seen striking the same pose.
