This is the type of action adventure movie that Bollywood
should be making... but isn't! Till now the Indian audiences were entertained
by films from Hollywood, but actor turned director Kamal Sadanah has tried to
touch a genre untouched before. His film ROAR: Tigers of the Sunderbans
revolves around man eating tigers and marks his directorial debut. With an
entertaining yet thrilling premise that reflect the power struggle between man
and beast, it also gives you a sneak peek into the world of the beautiful yet
dangerous tigers of Sundarbans.
While the trailor looks promising (it was launched by none
other than Salman Khan), seems a lot of effort has been put up in the CGI
department. However, you can't help but admire and fear the mighty tigers. Featuring
majorly newcomers like Abhinav Shukla, Aaran Choudhury, Himarsha V, Aadil
Chahal, Ali Quli, Naura Fatehi, Pranay Dixit, Subrat Dutta and Virendra Singh
Ghuman, the film is an ode to the beauty and terror that the royal tiger of the
Sunderbans instills in people.
Judging by its cover (read trailor), it seems to be a marvelous
film with breathtaking, scenic and expansive cinematography. But hope the film has
a superb script and moves along at a brisk pace and keeps the viewer engaged in
the story and in a truly good time.
While
many might not be aware about, Roar had its screening at Cannes to the international
audience and is all set to scorch the screens in India. Produced by Abis Rizvi Films, Roar - Tigers of the
Sunderbans is slated to release in India on September 5. But before that, you
can take a walk on the wild side with Roar and watch the trailer here!
