Producers and directors can make
or break an actor’s career. However, if you manage to impress, you can be rest
assured that your career will be elevated. Not long ago, Emraan Hashmi was the
Bhatt camp’s choice for a lead in many of their films. But after the speculated
fallout between the actor and his mentors, it seems that Ali Fazal has become
the Bhatts’ new favourite.
However, after their speculated
fallout, they have tended not to weep over it and have already found another
poster boy in Ali Fazal, who was last in Bobby Jasoos opposite Vidya Balan. Not
only is he working for Mahesh Bhatts’ next horror movie Khamoshiyan, Ali will
now also be seen in Pooja Bhatt’s next opposite Richa Chadha.
“The Bhatts’ have the knack for
spotting talent and have over the years, given several actors a chance to make
it big in Bollywood. They gave me a home production with Khamoshiyaan - Mukesh
Bhatt's next. I have finally finished it and now walked over to the next room
in the same house with Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt guiding me,” says Ali
Fazal.
A man with a boyish charm,
Lucknowi mannerisms and playful and expressive eyes, Ali Fazal is currently
busy promoting his forthcoming film "Sonali Cable" Speaking about “Sonali
Cable” the 27 something actor informs that the movie is releasing on October 17.
“I am playing the role of a boy named Raghav, who is also referred to as the
‘Internet boy’ in the movie and Rhea Chakraborty is playing the female lead. In
the movie, they both belong to different strata of the society, so there is a
great amount of contrast between the lead characters. Despite rivalry, he becomes
the voice of her cable centre and they fall in love. It is an endearing movie,
which I am hoping people will relate to.”
Ali is now all set to attend
workshops for Shagufta Rafique's directorial debut. “I am very excited about
the film. It's a very hard-hitting drama and I am opposite Richa Chadha in the
film. Since it's a hard-hitting film, we will have to go for workshops and they
will start soon. The shoot of the film will start in December," Ali signed
off.
