Nakul Sahdev trains to play a visually impaired guitarist for Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Talented actor Nakul Sahdev, who left a mark with his striking performances in the teenage drama genre was recently seen on bindass’ cult show Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The telecasted episode showcased a beautiful love story between a blind guitarist teacher and his student. Armaan, portrayed by Nakul Sahdev is suffering from blindness and irrespective of all the obscurity in his life he goes on to become a music teacher. However, he finds solace in the company of his new student Drishti and the two find themselves falling in love with each other.

Talking about the character Nakul says, “I’m playing the role of Armaan, who is himself going through a lot in his life and then he meets this girl who helps him understand life in a better manner.” When asked about his training for the character, the actor revealed, “Especially with this story I have learnt a lot because there are very few opportunities when an actor gets to play a different character which involves learning. For this particular character I had to go through a three day workshop with a blind guitarist so that I get to learn all the minute details and do justice to my character.”

Nakul was seen romancing Chavvi Pandey of Ek Boond Ishq fame in this unsual love story. Popular television actor Rithvik Dhanjani was hosting the show and taking the viewers along the plot of this beautiful love story on ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ this Sunday 2nd November, 2014, at 7pm only on bindass!
