After his Sydney and Melbourne gigs earlier this year, Ayushmann Khurrana is set to embark on another musical tour from July 8-24 with singer Sunidhi Chauhan. This time, the duo is headed to the US and Canada and will tour Orlando, Houston, Toronto, Washington, Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Seattle and Vancouver.
"We've been meaning to tour the US and Canada since last year. It's finally happening and we are excited," confirms the actor-singer who will perform on a mix of songs ranging from hits from the 1990s to his own chartbusters like "Pani Da Rang" and "Mitti Di Khushboo". "I get maximum requests to sing these two songs. We will also sing rock versions of 90s hits like "Meri Pant Bhi Sexy" and "Hawa Hawa", amongst other hit tracks," reveals the 31-year-old actor, who is currently working on a film with Parineeti Chopra.
Prod him on how he manages to balance concerts with his hectic shooting schedules, and he says, "I've been performing with my band for a while now. A two-three-day practice before tour usually suffices," asserts the Vicky Donor actor, adding that he's also gearing up to release another single. "The previous single, "Yahin Hoon Main", was in Hindi so this time it is going to be a Punjabi number, which I have composed and sung," he concludes.
