Coach Celebrates the launch of it’s First Store in India

Last night, Coach, the leading New York design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle brand, celebrated its launch in India with its Modern Luxury retail concept at Palladium Mumbai, the brand’s first store in the country.

The store will carry a wide assortment of accessories for women and men including bags, small leather goods, weekend and travel accessories, scarves and jewelry. The stores will also carry coveted handbags from Coach 1941, the brand’s runway collection including this season’s statement bag, The Rogue. These offerings speak to the artistry of leather craft synonymous with The New York styled party at the central atrium of Palladium, was transformed to create an ambience that overlooked the enticing skyline of Manhattan – the city that continues to serves endless inspiration to the 75 year old brand. In attendance was Coach International President, Ian Bickley, Genesis Luxury Executive Chairman, Sanjay Kapoor and Phoenix Mills Joint Managing Director Atul Ruia.

The star studded evening saw the swish and fashionable lot of the city join the celebration with Jacqueline Fernandez to officially welcome the classic American heritage brand to India. Guests were seen sipping the handcrafted cocktails curated by Absolut Elyx for the evening. The perfect fusion of DJ and percussionist playing American tunes blended in with Indian beats had the crowd enjoying the drinks and toasting the new fashion destination in Mumbai.
