Courtyard by Marriott Agra added
a new feather to its cap by winning this year’s Best Hotel in Agra Award. The
award has been instituted by leading media group, The Times of India. It is a
part of The Times’ Brand Icons initiative where one Brand from each category is
chosen to be facilitated for attaining excellence in its field of Business. The
award has 18 categories. Courtyard by Marriott Agra won this award for
Hospitality, Tourism and Women Engagement Segment.
It is commendable that Courtyard
by Marriot bagged the honour in just a year and a half since it started
operations. More so, given the competition there is in Agra with the presence
of all big hotel chains in the city.
Elated at the laurels the hotel
has won for itself, Mr. Abhishek Sahai, General Manager, said, “Getting the
best hotel award at a prestigious platform like The Times of India’s Brand
Icons is a big honour and recognition for us, especially given the competition
in our world heritage city, Agra with its world-famous Taj Mahal is a favorite
