Extraction 2 / Netflix
An action thriller drama movie, directed by Sam Hargrave and written by
Joe Russo, Chris Hemsworth is back with the second part of Extraction which rides
high on thrill, action, and drama. Even after his near-death experience in his
last mission in Dhaka in Bangladesh, Tyler is back to doing what he is best at
– saving the innocent. In this sequel to the 2020 film, Chris’ character Tyler
Rake is on a deadly mission to save the family of a ruthless Georgian gangster.
He will be confronted with unforeseen dangers and unfamiliar challenges that he
must overcome before it’s too late.
Black Mirror / Netflix
The new season of the dystopian sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror is
all set to release this week, after nearly five years since the last season.
The dark and twisted Black Mirror Season 6 comprises five captivating episodes
with a runtime of 40-80 minutes. In the first episode, an ordinary woman finds
out that her life has been adapted into a TV drama, while in the second a young
couple gets engrossed in a local story filled with shocking events in a quaint
Scottish town. Next, audiences get to travel to an alternate 1969 where two
characters face unimaginable events during their high-tech mission. They then
step into the shoes of a troubled starlet who pays the price of being a
celebrity and finally into the life of a meek sales assistant who is forced to
do terrible acts to avoid disaster.
I Love You / JioCinema
I Love You is a romantic thriller drama series written and directed by
Nikhil Mahajan. Headlining this movie are Rakul Preet Singh, Pavail Gulati, and
Akshay Oberoi. Rakul portrays the character of a working independent woman
named Satya Prabhakar who believes in old-school romance. She experiences true
love when she meets the man of his dreams, but love catches her by surprise.
Her love story soon takes a deadly turn as she starts experiencing shocks instead
of romantic surprises. Soon the twists and turns in the plot turn this love
story into an edgy and captivating mystery that will keep audiences on the edge
of their seats.
Big Boss OTT Season 2 / JioCinema
Big Boss OTT Season 2 is all set to entertain audiences with an
impressive list of contestants who have been in the news of late. After the
successful first season in 2021, Bigg Boss OTT is back with another

Embrace the lawlessness in the heart of the wild west in this western
cowboy drama movie Desperate Riders, written by Lee Martin and directed by
Michael Feifer. The movie is headlined by Vanessa Evigan, Victoria Pratt, Rob
Mayes, Trace Adkins, Tom Berenger and Erin Bethea. The story revolves around a
loner and a female sharpshooter who have to fight with a band of ruthless
outlaws in order to save the mother of a boy named Billy. The movie offers a
perfect blend of drama and action set back in the days when justice was sought
through guns and quick wits. Watch the movie to enjoy the Western nostalgia
filled with raw emotional drama and adrenaline-pumping action.
Rafuchakkar / JioCinema
A thriller drama starring Maniesh Paul, Rafuchakkar marks his OTT debut
with this mini-series. Essaying the character of a conman who creates havoc
across cities in India in this clutter-breaking series directed by Ritam
Srivastava, Maniesh’s character Pawan Kumar aka Prince carries shocking scams
that target the rich and corrupt. Disguised as a gym trainer, wedding planner,
and other characters he comes up with unique schemes to extract millions from
the rich. However, as the story unfolds it becomes difficult to decide whether
he really is a swindler or a common man who gets tangled in a web of lies.
Jee Karda / Amazon Prime Video
Jee Karda with an impressive ensemble cast is a rom-com drama series
directed by Arunima Sharma. The story revolves around the lives of seven
childhood friends played by Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar,
Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, and Samvedna Suwalka. They all
believed that their life will be sorted by the time they turned 30. However,
life had other plans for them as none of them lives the life he/she dreamt of.
Moreover, an accidental wedding proposal between two of these friends adds to
the overall drama in the lives of these millennials. Will their friendship
survive the hurricane all this mess is going to cause in their lives?
Shaitan / Disney Plus Hotstar
A Telugu language action crime
drama series that digs deep into a world where violence is a prerequisite for
survival, Shaitan is written and directed by Mahi V. Raghav. Starring Rishi as
Baali, the story unfolds as Baali and people of his like are willing to kill
anyone they have to in order to stay alive. Their actions put them on the radar
of both cops and politicians. The forces leave no stone unturned in hunting
them down and even deal ruthlessly with them. But will Baali and others
silently face the atrocities of cops and politicians or will they retaliate in
a more gruesome manner?
King the Land / Netflix
‘King the Land’ is a rom-com and a hate-to-love relationship drama. It
tells the story of a man who is the heir of The King Group, a luxury hotel
corporation, and a young lady working at The King Group who finds her way to
personal growth by handling office politics. The lead roles are played by Im
Yoon-ah and Lee Jun-ho in the drama.
Farhana / Sony LIV
Written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, Farhana is a Tamil language
thriller drama movie starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Selvaraghavan, Aishwarya Dutta,
Jithan Ramesh, Anumol, Sakthi and Raja Krishnamoorthy. This movie is about a
simple housewife/mother named Farhana who is going through a financial crisis.
In order to make ends meet and provide her children with a better lifestyle,
she takes up a job at a call centre. However, despite putting in all her
efforts, she is unable to earn much. She then decides to switch divisions in
the same company which puts her in a labyrinth of dangers. As the plot
thickens, problems increase manifold for Farhana, turning her life upside down.
IIFA 2023 / Jio Cinema
After the grand ceremony in Dubai, IIFA 2023that was held on 26-27 May
2023 is all set for TV and Digital Premiere this weekend. Produced by Wizcraft
International Entertainment, this annual award ceremony honors the best
Bollywood films, stars, filmmakers, technicians, etc. for their contribution to
the film industry. With the official satellite partner for IIFA 2023 being
Colors TV, it will premiere on June 18, 2023 at 5:00 PM on Colors TV. Same time,
you can also catch this on Jio Cinema for free from June 18, 5:00 PM onwards.
